Process, Curated show featuring work that focuses on the process of making.

Don't throw that out, we can reuse it.

​

In the Great Depression, women used flour sacks to make clothes for themselves and their families. Flour companies noticed and began printing patterns onto the fabric sacks. 

​

Using slip transfers and slip-dipped hand crocheted pieces, I employed the iconography of flour brands with the craft of crochet to acknowledge and honor 'women's work'.
