Full, consisting of fifty-one thrown and illustrated bowls, addresses positive self-regard and the struggles to attain it. The word ‘full’ comes with baggage. I considered fullness in reference to the quantity of bowls, their use, and why for some ‘full’ is deemed negative. I looked at the fullness and the mass of bowls in relation to the mass our bodies take up, and reflected on the things that I have struggled with my entire life. I wanted to openly address this theme on a vessel for food.
